Community Lesson Program
Learn Music is a proud participant in The Cain Center for the Arts’ Community Lesson Program. The Community Music Lesson Program is a need-based initiative that provides free, nine-month music lessons for students ages 7–17 in voice, guitar, piano, or drums.
The Community Music Program began at The Cain Center for the Arts in 2020 and provides local students ages 7–17 with access to a nine-month music education program at no cost. Students receive instruction in voice, guitar, piano, or drums, and upon completing the program, each student is awarded a free instrument aligned with the lessons they’ve taken.
Learn Music began participating in the Community Lesson Program at its inception in 2020 and has celebrated the graduation of more than 80 students through the program.

Not at all! The Community Lesson Program is for students of all skill levels, and beginners are more than welcome. Learn Music’s instructors excel at guiding both brand new and established musicians.

Yes, all Community Lesson Program students receive an instrument at the beginning of the program and are able to keep the instrument upon graduation from the program.

Everyone interested in the program must apply on The Cain Center for the Arts website. Once accepted, students will receive guidelines for participation.
