We believe that knowledge is perfected when it is applied.
This is why we create regular opportunities for our students to perform, taking what they have learned in the classroom onto the stage. We host a bi-monthly concert called "Learn Music Live," where students can show their family and friends what they've been learning in their lessons.

FAQs
-
Learn Music Live is our bi-monthly student recital series, giving students the chance to perform what they’ve been learning in their lessons in a relaxed, supportive environment.
-
All Learn Music students are welcome to participate—no matter their age or experience level (yes, adults can perform too!). Our instructors help students prepare songs that match their skill level and showcase their progress.
-
Our Learn Music Live concerts are hosted at local venues in the Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville area so students can experience the excitement of a real performance setting. Two performances a year take place at the Cain Center for the Arts in downtown Cornelius, and the others are typically held at coffee shops with a stage setup.
-
Sign-ups open six weeks before each event. Families will receive an email with a registration link and performance guidelines.
-
That’s completely normal! Our instructors and staff are here to provide encouragement and make sure every student feels comfortable and confident. Many students find that performing helps them grow faster and build self-assurance both on and off the stage.
“Our children have been taking lessons at Learn Music since 2020… They have learned so much over the years and it has been so amazing to see them grow in their talent, skills, stage presence, and confidence each week. We love how they have an opportunity to perform a few times a year at Learn Music Lives around town to show off their hard work… it keeps them motivated to want to learn and grow.”
