One Cornelius Location, Two Campuses

Learn Music is one school right in the heart of Cornelius, NC. We’ve been part of this community for years, and we’re thrilled to announce that this summer we’re opening a second campus on Main Street, just 0.3 miles from our current campus. More space means more students get to experience the joy of making music, while everything else stays exactly as it is.

Townie Campus

Our Original Home

Our Townie Campus is where it all started. Nestled in a plaza alongside the New York Butcher Shoppe, it’s a welcoming, familiar space that hundreds of students call home.

Private Lesson Rooms

The Townie Campus has twelve dedicated classrooms for one-on-one instruction in piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, voice, violin, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and more.

Legends Band Room

Our Legends program matches students by age, skill, and music taste to play together in a real band. Each band meets to rehearse for one hour per week in the Legends room.

Main Street Campus

New Building

Something exciting is happening on Main Street. Just 0.3 miles down the road from our Townie Campus, we’re putting the finishing touches on a standalone building renovated especially for music education.

New Classrooms

With up to 16 classrooms, the Main Street Campus provides additional space for private lessons, group classes, Legends rehearsals, and more.

Same Mission

The Main Street Campus will function exactly like our current campus, with no difference in experience, programs, or community. We're not replacing anything—we're adding more space so we can say yes to more students who want to be part of Learn Music.

 Location FAQs

  • No — we love our Townie Campus and it’s staying exactly as is. The new campus is additional space so we can teach more students, not a replacement for anything.

  • Not exactly, we’re expanding. Learn Music is still one school in Cornelius, NC. We’re just adding a second campus. Both campuses are on Main Street, 0.3 miles apart — close enough to walk between them.

  • Nope. Everything at the Townie Campus stays the same — same teacher, same lesson time, same location. Nothing changes for current Townie students.

  • No. The new campus is additive, not a reorganization. Your schedule stays exactly as it is.

  • Yes, tuition is the same at both locations. No surprises.

  • Absolutely. You’re welcome to use parking at either campus.

  • We’d love that! Once we’re open, come see it. We’ll share details about any open house events as we get closer.

  • Our goal is to open this summer, pending the completion of renovations. We’ll keep you posted!
