Originally from western New York, Erica Wright has been a piano teacher for over 27 years. She studied piano performance and pedagogy at SUNY Fredonia, where she accompanied both the Chautauqua County Children's Chorale and the University Choir.

Before moving to Charlotte in 2006, Erica ran a private piano studio with over 30 students. Her goal as a teacher is to share the joy of music with students of all ages and skill levels. Erica’s teaching style focuses on making music fun, therapeutic, and a powerful outlet for personal growth and self-expression. She creates personalized lesson plans that develop each student's skills while keeping lessons engaging and rewarding.

When she’s not teaching, Erica treasures time with her three children. She enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the mountains of North Carolina, finding inspiration in both nature and adventure.
