Each session runs from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and wraps up with a performance for friends and family.
Songwriting Summer Camp is a creative week where your student will learn how to turn their musical ideas into a finished original song — from first lyric to final recording!
Day 1 – Song Structure & Inspiration: We’ll kick things off by exploring what makes a great song. Students will learn about sections like verses, choruses, and bridges, and start brainstorming ideas for their own original piece.
Day 2 – Lyrics & Storytelling: Campers will dive into lyric writing — learning how to tell a story, express emotion, and find their unique songwriting voice.
Day 3 – Melody & Chords: Students will discover how to create catchy melodies and choose chords that bring their lyrics to life.
Day 4 – Arrangement & Rehearsal: It’s time to put it all together! The group will arrange their song and prepare for recording.
Day 5 – Recording Day: Campers will head into the studio to record their original song with guidance from our instructors. Families will receive a professionally mixed and mastered version after camp — a lasting record of their musical creativity!
