Lauren - Voice, Piano
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a concentration in Choral Music from the Converse University Petrie School of Music. During her time at Converse, she was an active member of both the Converse Chorale and the Spartanburg Master Chorale, developing a strong foundation in vocal performance and ensemble singing. Her training spans a wide range of styles, including classical, musical theater, jazz, gospel, and contemporary music.
Lauren currently serves as a high school choral director, where she works with students from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. She is passionate about helping young musicians discover their unique voices, build confidence, and achieve their musical goals.
Raised in a family where music was part of everyday life, Lauren's love for music began at an early age. Her passion grew through participation in her church choir and praise team, eventually leading her to become a worship leader. Through these experiences, she discovered a lifelong calling to use music to encourage, inspire, and connect with others.
As both an educator and lifelong learner, Lauren believes music has the power to foster creativity, build confidence, and bring people together. When she is not teaching or singing, she enjoys leading worship at her church, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying a good cup of coffee or hot tea.
Lauren is excited to be part of the Learn Music team and loves helping students of all ages and skill levels experience the joy of making music. She strives to create a warm, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where students can grow as musicians, develop confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love of music.
