Theresa is a passionate pianist who has dedicated most of her life to music. She earned Bachelor’s degrees in Music Performance and Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the Fontys Conservatory in the Netherlands. Studying abroad gave her the invaluable opportunity to connect with musicians from around the world, opening her eyes to the depth and beauty of the global music community. She discovered how music brings people together to provide strength, confidence, support, and comfort—and realized that building community was an essential part of her own growth as a musician.

As a music educator, Theresa strives to instill that same sense of belonging in her students. Her teaching philosophy is to create a safe and supportive environment where students can develop self-expression through active learning and collaboration.

Theresa feels honored to be part of Learn Music, where she knows the team shares these values. She is excited to extend this spirit of inclusivity beyond the classroom and help create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through Learn Music’s doors.
